The Promise Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen who do not qualify for an Academic Scholarship but meet the minimum requirements of a high school GPA of 2.5 and 900 SAT. To remain eligible, recipients are required to maintain full-time enrollment as an undergraduate student and a SU GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). In addition, recipients must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements as defined by the Financial Aid Office and listed in the undergraduate catalog. No additional application is required to apply; eligibility is determined based upon a student’s application for admission to the university.
