Shenandoah Conservatory muscic, theatre, dance
Shenandoah University offers several tracks to earning a bachelor of science degree in respiratory care.
The RT to BSRC track provides already practicing respiratory therapists the ability to continue their education and expand their professional development by completing an accredited Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care program. This dynamic, flexible track is based at the Winchester campus.
The Three-Semester Transfer Track is for students transferring to Shenandoah University without any respiratory therapy credentials. Courses in this track are delivered at the Winchester and Northern Virginia campuses.
Students in both programs must comply with the University's academic policies. In addition, respiratory care students must meet the following program requirements:
Students are enrolled in the program subject to its policies and guidelines, as described in the program handbook provided to each student. Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from clinical facilities and between campus sites.
Undergraduate SU students who are considering a career in Respiratory Therapy are encouraged to contact the Division of Respiratory Care early in their careers to develop an academic plan and ensure all program prerequisites are addressed.
In addition to completing all University General Education requirements, students must complete all prerequisites prior to beginning their Respiratory Care curriculum. Note: some prerequisites may also count toward General Education requirements.
