Doctor of Nursing Practice Post Master of Science in Nursing

The Doctor of Nursing Practice track prepares the nurse with the necessary skills and knowledge to assume the role of a primary health care provider in a variety of settings. The Post-master's student may complete the program in 20 months part-time. Cohorts are established in September or January. All classroom courses are on Wednesday and Thursday. Clinical placement is arranged by faculty and will be scheduled at the convenience of the facility hosting the student.

Degree Requirements:

The degree requirement is 24 semester hours for FNP with a grade of B or better in all courses. Clinical practicum is approximately 300 clock hours.
