Opposing Sides Forums
As part of its objective of being a public policy resource for the community, the INSTITUTE for GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC SERVICE sponsors Opposing Sides Forums. These forums are being held in conjunction with area civic clubs. The purpose is to provide information on the merits of current public policy proposals. The format for these forums is to have both sides of the issue represented by knowledgeable spokespersons, and to have a representative of the INSTITUTE for GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC SERVICE serving as moderator.Opposing Sides forums have been held on such topics as: Terms Limits, Pari-Mutuel Gambling, Tort Reform and Charter Schools. Call the INSTITUTE for GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC SERVICE for the next forum date, topic and site!
