Shenandoah University seeks applicants for the position of Admissions Coordinator for Media Recruitment.
The full-time, 12-month position serves to attract and recruit prospective students through the agency of electronic technology. Media that will be employed by the coordinator includes, but is not limited to, social media, presentation software, video and still photography, Microsoft suite and other computer publishing software, and the university website. The coordinator will implement, coordinate and manage initiatives, programs and projects.
In addition, the coordinator will successfully manage a recruitment territory, and will fully participate in departmental recruitment initiatives, as needed. The coordinator is required to do some overnight recruitment travel and to work some evenings and weekends. The coordinator must provide a high quality of service to prospective students and families throughout the prospect, recruitment, admissions and enrollment processes.
An ideal candidate will be creative, deadline-driven, and be able to successfully manage multiple projects and responsibilities. Qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to) a bachelor’s degree, a working knowledge of various Microsoft and Apple environments, WordPress, HTML, CSS, Adobe PhotoShop, and other digital software along with database usage. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. into and out of a vehicle. A valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to pass a driving background check are required. Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen will be required as well. This position offers a full benefits package.
