Admission Requirements:
-
Completed
graduate application for admission, along with a $30
non-refundable application fee.

Completed
graduate nursing program application.
-
Earned a MSN degree from CCNE accredited institution.
-
Successful completion of MSN courses in physical assessment with
60 clock hours of lab, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
-
Minimum graduate grade point average (GPA) of
3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
-
Official transcripts from all institutions of higher
education previously attended.
-
Be a Registered Nurse licensed in Virginia.
-
2,080 RN Clinical work hours prior to specialty courses
-
CPR certification as a Healthcare Provider from the American
Heart Association.
-
Up to date immunizations and health record submitted to the
Wilkins Wellness Center at Shenandoah University.

Two (2) letters of recommendation
-
Complete Graduate Nursing Program interview process.

Only grades of B or higher are transferable.

maximum of 6 credit hours.
Where
to Begin:
Degree Requirements:
The
degree requirement is 19 semester hours with a grade of B or better in
all courses. Clinical practicum is approximately 700 clock hours.
Specialty Courses:
Minimum grade of B required in all specialty courses.
