At Shenandoah, the faculty and staff are committed to providing students with the highest quality educational experience in a deeply compassionate environment. Our professors love to share in the learning and discovery process alongside their students - whether in a laboratory, on stage, in a clinic, in the archives, or while hiking in nearby Shenandoah National Park.
As president, I spend most of my time working with others to lead this institution. But, my favorite hours each week are spent with students - having dinner with them in my home with my family, travelling abroad with them, attending their performances or presentations, or learning with them in the course I teach each year.
