
Elinor
Mondale
Elinor received
her PhD in history of education from Washington University,
St. Louis. After a varied career in teaching and administration
in both public schools and higher education, she went
to Japan with a Lehman College, CUNY, group to open
a branch campus in the mountains of Hiroshima Prefecture
for Japanese students. Later, Elinor transferred to
Kibi International University in Okayama Prefecture
where she taught English as a Foreign Language for eight
years before returning to the United States.
Elinor joined the Shenandoah University faculty in 2001.
