The mission of the Shenandoah
University TESOL Department is to prepare citizens of the world for
useful and rewarding careers in teaching English to speakers of other
languages through high-quality distance instruction.
The SU TESOL program prepares professional educators with the
necessary knowledge and skills to design, implement and evaluate
instructional programs in English as a foreign or second
