Duties and Responsibilities

  • Type letters, envelopes, labels, etc.
  • Operate work processor
  • Filing
  • Copying
  • Assist at alumni and parent functions
  • Assist with daily office operation
  • Errands
  • Making phone calls
  • Answering phone
  • Occasional use of Desk Top Publishing (Can be trained)
  • Assist with spring and fall Phone-A-Thons
  • Represent the University well
  • Confidentiality

Skills and Qualifications

  • Typing skills
  • Word processing skills
  • Telephone skills
  • Good attitude and attendance
  • Knowledge of general office routine
  • Organizational skills
  • Meet people well

Dress Code:

No short shorts, proper business attire on days when special guests will be in the office.
