Peer Tutoring Program

At one time or another, most college students encounter a course in which extra individualized help is needed. The Academic Success Center employs a bank of student tutors in most subjects who have mastered their subject and who enjoy helping other students. They have been recommended as tutors by faculty members.

If you are having difficulty with a course:

  • Make an appointment to see your professor as soon as possible. Explain the difficulties you are encountering and ask for his/her suggestions.

  • Come to the Academic Success Center and request a tutor. It involves filling out a short form. You and your tutor will establish a time to meet that is convenient for both of you.
