The Greater Richmond Chamber is hosting the first-ever College to Career Fair. The fair will match students from across the region with employers. Approximately 100 Chamber member companies, ranging from Fortune 500 to medium size corporations are expected to participate. The College to Career Fair will target interns, graduating seniors and recent graduates. We are expecting approximately 1,600 students to attend the fair.
Highlights of the College to Career Fair will include an advance online resume posting system to allow students the opportunity to submit resumes prior to meeting with employers at the fair. A guide book will be published and available at the fair listing all jobs available by the various employers participating in the career fair. Participating companies will be able to access registered students' qualifications prior to the event.

resume stand out from others? Volunteerism shows that you are an involved citizen – someone who works to make the community a better place.
The Volunteer Services Resource Center located in Winchester is currently recruiting volunteers and connecting them to existing services and community needs. Whatever your skill level; or whether you can make an on-going commitment of time or have an extra hour sometime in the future, there is a place for you to make a difference in your community.
While volunteer needs in the community vary, some specific needs include recruitment of… loving individuals to provide child care to preschool children, gifted individuals savvy in website design, hospitable individuals to welcome guests, or even “coaches” to work one-on-one with workers with special needs.
To offer your time and talents, visit www.volunteernsv.com to complete an on-line volunteer application or contact Stacey Iden, Volunteer Coordinator, at 540-536-1605 or siden@valleyhealthlink.com. |
