Shenandoah University offers the culture and benefits of a small campus community with the events and activities of a comprehensive university. Shenandoah Conservatory is one of the country's premier institutions, providing more than 300 concerts and performances each year. Faculty and students work together to make events happen on campus. Shenandoah's campus activities network (CAN) provides a stream of activities based on student interests. Intramurals, theatre, live entertainment, movie nights, organizational fairs, community service opportunities, off-campus trips, travel-abroad programs, skiing, bowling, and open-mic nights, and much more make up student life at Shenandoah. Students can also start their own organizations or host events on campus. There is something for everyone at Shenandoah University, and while some activities are limited to students, there are many events that involve outside Shenandoah communities. Current students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff are encouraged to take part in the social scene Shenandoah has to offer. Shenandoah University works every day to ensure its campus life and social offerings are as active and progressive as its quality academic programs.
