At Shenandoah University, we believe that all our students are responsible for maintaining an environment within the residence halls that supports the academic mission of the University. The Department of Residence Life maintains policies and procedures for the safety and well being of each individual student to maximize their success and growth while at Shenandoah.

The Code of Conduct exists to foster appropriate behavior and good choices that will serve our students throughout their lives. The primary purpose of the Code of Conduct is to ensure the safety and protection of the students, while educating each individual to respect and adhere to proscribed policies and procedures of the University.

Professional and paraprofessional staff members are available 24/7 in each residence hall to assist residents and are committed to upholding principles that nurture a healthy environment. Please feel free to stop by the Office of Residence Life any time!
