Traditions

Traditions begin here at Shenandoah. Our traditions are as rich as they are varied. First-year students are always welcomed with the Wal-Mart Scavenger Hunt. Parker Hall is renowned for its Haunted House which is attended by the entire campus community. November means Turkey Bowling, another fine tradition from Funk/Gore (Funkhouser and Gore Halls). Racey has its annual fashion show, while University Inn holds the annual Olympics which features mattress jousting. Edwards is known for its Village cookouts.
