Shenandoah University encourages students to take an active role in student organizations and supports a variety of clubs and organizations to meet the needs and interests of its students. Shenandoah University offer more than 40 clubs and organizations. From professional to dance organizations to singing groups and community service groups, there are a multitude of options from which to choose your involvement.
Starting a new organization on campus:
If you don't find your niche within the groups listed in these pages, there is always the opportunity to start a new organization on campus. For more information on how to start a new club, contact the Director of Student Activities at (540) 665-5445.
Steps to creating a new group on campus:
1. Print and fill out an intent to organize form and a model constitution form
2. Find an advisor (an SU staff or faculty member)
3. Hold an interest meeting (you need at least 5 people on your roster)
4. Contact the Director of Student Activites to go over your paperwork
5. Revise paperwork
6. Meet with the Student Retention Planning Committee
