For Veterans and Military

Shenandoah University supports veterans, active duty, and their dependents in their endeavor to attain degrees in higher education.  To assist veterans and dependents a simple checklist is provided below as well as some hepful links.

Checklist

  1. Enroll for the VA benefits online by using the Veterans Online Application which can also be located at http://www.gibill.va.gov/.  This information is required before benefits are granted.
  2. Contact the Office of Admissions to complete an online application to the university and order your military transcript. The Admissions staff will guide you through the admission and enrollment process. 
  3. Apply for financial aid to help with costs not covered by VA benefits.
  4. If assistance is needed, please contact the veteran advocates who will help you navigate the process.  This link will take you to the Program Enrollment page.
