FYS Downtown Dinner  introduces all first-year students to old town Winchester. Buses will be at the Brandt Student Center main entrance at 4:30 p.m. and will begin transporting students to and from Shenandoah’s Feltner Building on the corner of Boscawen and Loudoun streets, continuously making the 20-minute circuit. All First-Year Seminar students will enjoy dinner with faculty at great restaurants. Bluemont Concert Series: The Bob Larson Jazz Trio performs at 7:30 p.m. on the 1840 Courthouse lawn on the Loudoun Street walking mall. Dr. Larson is a Shenandoah Conservatory professor. Admission is $5 per person ($4 for seniors and friends of Bluemont.)

First-Ever Patsy Cline Music Festival begins at 10 a.m. at Patsy Cline’s childhood home (608 S. Kent St., Winchester). The FREE block party features live entertainment until 3 p.m., food from Greenwood Deli, craft vendors and more. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. (Admission into the Patsy Cline Historic House is $5.)
