Video assignments are a great way to teach composition and critical framing
Assignments might include research projects, story telling, interviews, or other types of presentations. Many easy-to-use tools let students create their own video and submit it to you based on your course needs.

Please review the Social Media Guidelines and Photo/AV Release Waivers for students and faculty on the Guidelines, Templates, and Policies Page prior to having students create video assignments.
Panopto Lecture Capture and Video Hosting
Panopto is a service that allows you to record and store video and audio (podcast) recordings and link them to your Canvas course. Panopto recordings and webcasts automatically publish to the associated Canvas course and can also be embedded directly into a Canvas page by an instructor. Panopto can be used for students to submit video assignments and to stream live events. Panopto videos are stored in the cloud and both faculty and students can make and store recordings.
