My favorite spots around SU: The audio recording studio and Bro Bears in Winchester because it reminds me of all the pacific northwest coffee drive-thru stands.

What makes SU special to me: The community. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. You can always find a smiling face around campus and so many people have gone out of their way to make me feel at home.

My advice: Ask questions. Reach out to admissions counselors, faculty and students. They are all happy to answer your questions. We want to help you succeed, grow and find the best-fit college for you. Also, be sure to explore your options. There are so many different universities and programs out there that offer a wide variety of experiences. You never know what you might find. Get involved and be open to new things. You will get out what you put into your college experience. There will be so many opportunities, resources, and experiences to take advantage of. Take your first year as a chance to expand your horizons, grow holistically and discover who you are.
