The School of Business offers students the opportunity to transfer into Shenandoah University to complete their degree in Business Administration.
No matter what the track, the school of business is more than able to accommodate the needs of its transfer students.
Business: Transfer Program
Candidates for this program will have graduated from high school and be enrolled at another college or university. The following items are required in order to be admitted to the Traditional Program:
- Undergraduate Application, along with $30 non-refundable, application fee.
- Official transcripts from colleges and/or universities attended with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Transfer Credit Evaluation
Upon receipt of all official transcripts, your application will be submitted to determine program eligibility and the amount of transfer credits. The Transfer Credit Evaluation will identify requirements met for general education, major courses, and free electives. The official Transfer Credit Evaluation will be mailed approximately three weeks after acceptance.
Traditional Program Prerequisites
Prior to advancing into certain 300-level courses, students are required to have completed a select set of prerequisite courses. These courses will satisfy a minimum of 18 credits of general education requirements and will be taken within the first year of enrollment at SU if an equivalent course has not been completed.

Fast-Track to an MBA
A 2+2+1 option that will allow transfer students to transition from an associate of arts and sciences degree in business administration to the bachelor’s of business administration (BBA) degree and subsequently a MBA degree—all in five years.
