“Looking back, Shenandoah prepared me more than I expected. The connections I made through work study, student organization involvement, internship and my graduate assistantship exposed me to a wide variety of workplace and social skill development. From working in financial aid to being a resident assistant and from being a part of the student programming team to being vice president of graduate affairs in SGA my skill base has expanded far beyond my expectations.”
“Shenandoah prepared me for the next steps in my life through the support of career services, the work-study program, and so many opportunities to make my voice heard in panels and advisory boards. The 2+2+1 business transfer plan made my transition from community college to Shenandoah University flawless. After studying business administration for 2 years at community college, I transferred to SU where I was able to finish my BBA a semester early. Community college prepared me for the courses I would go on to take at SU and all of my credits transferred over smoothly. I am now very close to completing my MBA at Shenandoah University and I could not be more excited and grateful for the education I have received here.”
“My professors at Shenandoah went above and beyond to prepare me for life after graduation. They challenged me to be my best self while also being kind and helping me when I needed most. I feel so grateful to have had them in my corner, not only cheering me on but setting me up for success as a young professional.”
“Shenandoah helped prepare me for my career and life through all of the amazing opportunities it offers. Not only was I getting a great education in the classroom but another form of one outside of it. Through many experiential learning opportunities I was able to put into practice what I had learned in the classroom and get some amazing experiences that have shaped my path as a student to a professional. Shenandoah also gave me so many opportunities to connect and network with professionals in the industry. Not only did I gain internships and professional experience through my connections at Shenandoah University, I also made a ton of personal connections as well.”
