As a 2007 graduate of the Physician Assistant Program, I am proud to represent the University as the Alumni Association President. Born and raised in Winchester, I returned home to Shenandoah after attending James Madison University. I felt a true sense of family while attending the Physician Assistant program and am forever grateful for the lasting relationships I made while at SU.
Since graduation in 2007, I was employed with Winchester Family Practice for one year and have been employed with Winchester Orthopaedic Associates for the past nine years. My husband, Pete, was raised in Winchester as well. We are busy with our two young boys, Andrew and Tyler. SU football games have become a staple in our house as of late, most recent at Homecoming.
What a beautiful fall weekend to celebrate Shenandoah Homecoming 2017. Thank you to all that attended and helped to make Homecoming 2017 such a wonderful, fun filled weekend. We were able to cheer the Hornets on to an ODAC victory against Bridgewater in front of a packed Shentel Stadium. From the Distinguished Alumni Awards, Pit Party, Brew with SU at Ciderworks, Tailgate and the Pub Crawl, it was a thrilling and jam packed weekend.
I couldn’t have been more proud to be a Hornet! I would like to thank everyone who volunteered and worked to make this such a successful weekend. Be sure to watch the video highlights! If you weren’t able to make it this year, I look forward to seeing you at next year’s festivities.
Go Hornets!
