The Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business will host its second-ever Entrepreneurship Week from Friday, Nov. 2, through Wednesday, Nov. 7. The celebration is in conjunction with Kauffmann’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, the largest celebration of entrepreneurship in the world. Entrepreneurship Week will include presentations from several experienced guest speakers. The world needs more entrepreneurs – are you one of them? Join the business school on the following days to learn about entrepreneurship and get expert advice. All presentations are free and open to the public.

SPEAKER BIOS
David Ramadan is a current member of the Virginia House of Delegates and the CEO of Curves International. He is responsible for this business going international, and Curves currently has locations in the Middle East and India.
Marissa Levin is the founder and CEO of Information Experts. She is an expert in what it takes to successfully build a multi-million dollar government contracting business, and how to navigate the challenging transition from private sector to federal sector.
Nick Nerangis has served as president of his own company for over 40 years and is a multiple franchise owner/operator and commercial developer. He has performed in numerous local, regional and national commercials and is active in local theater in the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He has appeared in television roles on programs such as HBO’s “The Wire” and NBC’s “The West Wing.”
Bruce Roberts is chairman and CEO of RxAlly. In his position, he leads a team of distinguished professionals to facilitate an innovative approach to healthcare by aligning the interests of patients, pharmacists and payers. Roberts also led the formation of Mirixa, a company owned by National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA), focused on connecting the pharmacists with those who want to engage them for the delivery of clinical services. He served as NCPA’s CEO from 2001 to 2010.
