Two Shenandoah Conservatory musical theatre majors performed at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Broadway on Nov. 11 in Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth’s (center) limited-engagement show, “Kristin Chenoweth: My Love Letter to Broadway.”
The students, Alexander Boyd (directly behind Chenoweth to the left) and Zachary Bigelow (directly behind Chenoweth to the right), are both juniors who performed as part of the Hunter College Opera Theatre Ensemble, which was in need of two additional tenors for the evening. Conservatory Theatre Division Music Director & Assistant Professor of Theatre Rick Edinger, M.A., (behind Boyd and Bigelow’s shoulders) made the connection with Hunter College, where he previously worked and pursued graduate studies, and also sang in the show.
