Flutist Sarah Saul ’18, ’20, performed Lowell Liebermann’s “Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, op. 39” in the March 14 masterclass with Sir James Galway at 7:30 p.m. in Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theater after being invited by Washington Performing Arts (WPA) to participate. The work was originally commissioned by and dedicated to Galway. Saul was accompanied by Bo-Kyung Hwang ’20. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Performance (Flute) and studies with Professor of Flute Jonathan Snowden, A.G.S.M.
