Assistant Professor of Cello Julian Schwarz, M.M., received critical acclaim from Wayne F. Anthony, of “The Toledo Blade,” following a performance of Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B Minor with the Toledo Symphony as conducted by James Feddeck on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle.
“A mass of soaring lines, intricate technique, and heroic aplomb, Schwarz executed all with a fluency of ease that was simply astounding,” said Anthony.
The performance was repeated on Saturday, Nov. 23, and was presented as part of the ProMedica Masterworks series. Visit www.toledoblade.com/a-e/music-theater-dance/2019/11/22/toledo-symphony-dvorak-cello-concerto-james-feddeck-cellist/stories/20191123097 to read the full review.
