Have you taken your COVID-19 Test at the Brandt Student Center?
RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS ONLY – After you finish unloading your car and moving into your residence hall, you will proceed to the Ferrari Room in the Brandt Student Center to complete your COVID-19 test. The testing takes place on August 18-19 and 21-22 from 9 am – 4 pm. We want to make the move-in process as seamless as possible for you, so we will be there to answer questions and support your needs.
RETURNING RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS should go to the Ferrari Room for testing BEFORE going to your residence hall.
Have you downloaded the Shenandoah Go app?
If you have an iPhone, go to the App Store to download the Shenandoah Go app. If you have an android, go to the Google Play store to download the Shenandoah Go app. Once downloaded, please begin to track your symptom daily. We’re all doing our part to keep Shenandoah safe!

NEW RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS ONLY – You will be given your mailbox number, lock combination and new SU address during check-in at your residence hall. Go to the Mail Room in the Brandt Student Center Monday – Friday 9 am-4:30 pm. Please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Also, don’t forget to give your friends and family your new address.

NEW STUDENT WORKERS – Human Resources will be in Brandt Student Center August 18 & 19 9 am-4 pm. After that you can go to the Human Resources Office in Wilkins Administration Building Monday – Friday 9 am-5 pm. Bring your two forms of identification to complete the I9-form. NEW STUDENTS – IDs can be picked up from Auxiliary Services, located in the Wilkins Administration Building Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. When picking up your SU ID, remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Spectrum and Q in Question Meet & Greet begins at 7 p.m. via Zoom. During September and February a group of students, along with DeLyn and Sarah Celec, meet to discuss spiritual views on gender identity and expression, and sexual orientation at Q in Question each Tuesday at 9 p.m. During the other months of the school year, Spectrum, an LGBTQ+ alliance, is a student organization that meets weekly to create safe social spaces to get to know each other, mingle with stories and snacks, discuss queer topics, and plan future events. Total Body X begins at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Total Body X is hosted by Nicole. Participants experience a variety of strength, cardio and core exercises as you push past ordinary and become X-traordinary with Nicole during Total Body X. This full body workout is sure to help you reach your fitness goals through the use of body weight exercises focused on helping you strengthen, tone and build up your cardiovascular endurance. Faith Seeking Justice (FSJ) Christian Leadership Certificate Virtual Open House runs from noon to 1 p.m.via Zoom. SU Spirit Day begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. online on Shenandoah’s Instagram Account (@ShenandoahUniversity). Shenandoah is excited to announce the first SU Spirit Day of the fall is Friday, Aug. 21! Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear red and blue or Shenandoah gear every Friday during the semester!
For the first Spirit Day, five gift cards will be given out on Shenandoah’s Instagram @ShenandoahUniversity. Spirit Days celebrate the variety of good things happening on campus throughout the year. Use the hashtag #SUSpiritDay to be featured on Shenandoah University’s social media accounts.

Transfer Connection begins at 4 p.m. via Zoom. Transfer Connection is a program designed to make transfer students’ transition into the Shenandoah community as seamless as possible. Hike to Bear’s Den begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. at Bear’s Den Trail (Harry Byrd Hwy, Bluemont, VA 20135). Take Route 7 west until it intersects Route 601 at the top of the mountain. At the base of the mountain, at the intersection of Route 601 and Route 7, is a gravel parking lot where you can park for free and will meet your guide from Shenandoah Outdoor & Adventure Recreation (SOAR).
