East Campus Commons is also a former hotel – actually five buildings, including Romine – and a complete renovation was started in 2012. East Campus Commons is available for juniors and seniors. It offers both single- and double-occupancy rooms, a fitness room and swimming pool for its residents. It is located near the university’s football stadium and is within walking distance of a large shopping center. East Campus offers older students independence – but within a quick walk or drive to the center of campus. A campus shuttle service makes stops at East Campus Commons.
