Welcome to the Office of Grants and Research Support
We assist faculty and staff in developing and submitting mission-related funding proposals to appropriate grant-making bodies including private foundations and governmental agencies. The office also works to maintain positive relationships with grant makers and to communicate with them about the beneficial outcomes of grants to Shenandoah.
The office serves as a source of information and referral for granting organizations with an interest in or questions about SU’s mission and programs. The director serves as authorizing official when the university applies for government funding.
