The GCP application for 2018 is now closed.
GCP 2018 participants: Log in to your application here to complete requirements
Applications for GCP 2019 will open in Spring 2018. You can begin to think about your essay by using the following information.
Write no more than 500 words answering the following two questions:
- What personal and/or professional interest compels you to apply for participation in the Global Citizenship Project?
- How do you envision sharing your experience with others once you return to Shenandoah University the following year?
When you click Apply Now, you will be prompted to login. Select the option that you have an SU username and password and use the same username and password that you use for Canvas. You will then be able to manage your application, enter information, save, and return later as needed.
Step-By-Step How to Apply
Click on the “Apply Now” button on the right side of the screen.
Choose the first option, “I have a SU username and password,” to login. Enter your SUNET username and password. Do NOT include “@su.edu” at the end of your username.
This is your GCP 2018 application. You will need to complete every item on the right-hand side. As you complete each items, it will be checked off automatically. When you are finished and all boxes are checked, click “Submit Application” at the top of the page.
Under the “Application Questionnaire(s)” section, click on the “GCP 2018 Essay.” Copy and paste the text of the essay into the box provided. Do NOT upload your essay as a file.
Under the “Application Questionnaire(s)” section, complete both the “GCP 2018 Faculty/Staff Application” and the “GCP 2018 Student Application. One of these sections will not apply to you, click on that option and select “No” when prompted “Are you a…”.
When you select no, that item will be marked with an N/A and will be removed from your list of options on your application.
Once you complete both of those portions as well as the “GCP conditions of application,” you are all done! Click on “Submit Application” at the top of the page.
