This ecumenical (multi-denominational) service of Ash Wednesday liturgy and the Imposition of Ashes marks the first day in the season of Lent, the 40 days (excluding Sundays) during which Christians who observe it enter a season of increased devotion and spiritual practice. This special service will be held March 5 at noon in the Goodson Chapel-Recital Hall.
