Break The Silence will be from 11.00 a.m.-3.00 p.m. in the Quad.  A sexual assault occurs every 98 seconds in the United States of America. Join the [Not Just] Women’s center in breaking the silence surrounding sexual violence. Peer mentors from the center will be ringing a chime every 98 seconds. We will also shatter the silence with the NJWC’s Glass Breaking Project. Students “break the silence” by writing an experience on a piece of glass, then literally break the glass, symbolically breaking free from that experience.  If you would like to volunteer to ring a chime or for more information, please contact Sarah Celec in the [Not Just] Women’s Center at thenjwc@su.edu.
