Residential student move-in dates for the fall term are:

New student move-in: August 21 from 8 a.m.-noon 
Returning student move-in: August 24 from 8 a.m.-noon

If you are a student who needs to request to move back to campus earlier than your official move-in date, you will need to complete the Early Arrival Request form located under Break, Shuttle & Roster Forms in your Housing Portal. The deadline to fill out the form is August 4.

Below are the groups that should fill out the Early Arrival Request form: 

• Resident assistants (RAs)
• Marching band, color guard, and drumline
• Fall athletes 
• Student leadership for Summit & Harambee
• FYS mentors 
• Pre-term conservatory auditions
• Esports
• Academic programs with start dates earlier than August 26
• Sensory-friendly move-In
• Students with work and travel arrangement obligations

Failure to fill out the early arrival form by August 4 will result in your room not being ready, which means that you may be responsible for providing your own housing accommodations until your official move-in date. Approval to return early is not guaranteed, except for SU-sanctioned obligations.
