Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre is hiring for summer 2025! SSMT is a professional summer stock company in its 41st season. Employment opportunities are available for actors, technical and costume artists, instrumentalists, and front-of-house staff. Technical, costume, and front-of-house applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through March 1. Interviews for these positions will be conducted in person or via zoom throughout February and March until all positions are filled. Instrumental submissions will also be reviewed on a rolling basis through March 1.

SSMT will hold on-campus actor auditions for Shenandoah University students on Saturday, Feb. 15. Students should review the job descriptions, schedules, and all information on the employment page of the website. If you wish to audition on Feb. 15, please email ssmt@su.edu for more information and instructions on how to sign up. Vocal auditions will be held by appointment 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. with a dance audition (including tap) held in the afternoon (time TBD). If you wish to audition but aren’t able to attend in person, please complete the online application with a video audition.
