Depression Support Group If you suffer from depression or have depressive symptoms, the counseling center invites you to join the weekly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy skills group for depression. This group involves learning and practicing skills to help alleviate some of your depressive symptoms. It will involve identifying depressive symptoms that you find disruptive in your daily life, learning skills to address these problematic symptoms, and practicing the skills between sessions. This group is not meant to fix your depression completely, and individual counseling may still be beneficial. However, this processing group can help to alleviate your depressive symptoms and give you the skills to improve your self-esteem, increase overall motivation and improve self-care routines.
