Douglass Day Transcribe-a-thon

February 14 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Drop into Smith Library between noon and 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 to learn how to transcribe historical documents from the African American Perspectives Collection at the Library of Congress. Douglass Day is held annually on the chosen birthday of Frederick Douglass. Shenandoah University marks the occasion by celebrating and creating Black history together. Collectively, we help to make important moments in Black history more accessible to everyone. All are welcome. Faculty members are encouraged to bring classes.
