English Department Creative Writing Contest GOT WORDS? WIN $250! The English Department invites you to submit your creative writing to the annual S. Gordden Link Poetry and Bruce C. Souders Fiction writing contests. Each contest awards $250 to the winner. Submit your unpublished poems (five maximum) or works of short fiction or other creative prose (5,000 words maximum) to avalon@su.edu by March 1. Your name should only appear on a cover sheet to ensure anonymity. To participate, you must be a Shenandoah undergrad enrolled in at least 12 credits for both semesters of the 2021-2022 school year.
