Failure Matters: What Does Failure Teach Us And How Do We Create An Environment Where Failure Is Valued? On Tuesday, November 16 at 7 p.m. EST in Hester Auditorium, Jessica O’Shaugnessy, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Student Success, College of Arts and Sciences, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science will be hosting a One Big Question session that will explore what it means to fail and how failure can ultimately lead to success. We will also look at ways we can encourage productive failure and how creating an empowering environment can encourage traditionally underrepresented groups to be successful.
