Forum on ‘Engaging Students In Learning: Faculty Sharing Innovative Practices From Around the World’ The Barzinji Project is hosting a new forum entitled “Engaging Students in Learning: Faculty Sharing Innovative Practices From Around the World” on Monday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This virtual forum is an opportunity for participants from around the world to share pedagogical tactics with each other in a supportive and collaborative environment. Participants are invited to share micro-presentations of no more than four minutes describing successful techniques they use in their courses, or they are welcome to just listen to those presented by others. Facilitators include Professor and Chair of the Leadership Studies Catherine Dunn Shiffman, Ph.D., and Professor and Director of the Center of Engaged Learning at Bridgewater University Jamie Frueh, Ph.D. Past forums have been presentation-based, this one will be more interactive with facilitators and breakout rooms. Please sign up to receive a Zoom link and more information about the program. Questions? Contact Younus Mirza at email@example.com.
