Hornet Soccer Academy is from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Shenandoah University. The Hornet Soccer Academy is for boys and girls aged 6-15 looking to have a fun, positive, and learning soccer experience. The Hornet Soccer Academy, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from June 11, through June 14, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 15, at Shenandoah University, is directed by Matt Smith, the new soccer coach at Shenandoah University and director of coaching for Winchester United. Coach Smith is a National Championship-winning coach, former college All-American, professional player, and current NCAA soccer coach who ranks as one of the Top 10 College Soccer Coaches in NCAA history. Coach Smith has coached numerous U.S. National Team players, U.S. Youth National Team members, and College All-Americans. Coach Smith is known for his fun approach to the game and has over 20 years of Camp Director experience. Campers are separated by age and/or ability. The Hornet Soccer Academy camps are level specific and designed for youth soccer players trying to develop and improve the technical, functional, and tactical skills necessary to compete at the recreational, club youth, middle school or high school level. All campers receive a soccer ball, water bottle and Hornet Soccer Academy T-shirt. Camp costs $195.
