iEARN Conference will take place at John Handley High School and Shenandoah University. iEARN is the world’s largest K-12 online network that enables youth worldwide to use the internet and digital media to collaborate on educational projects. Its 30th anniversary International Conference and Youth Summit in Winchester, Virginia. More than 400 students and teachers from 50 countries are registered for the event, which will focus on discussions about how to achieve the United Nations’ sustainable development goals — such as gender equality and the elimination of poverty and hunger — through global, collaborative project work. Conference registration, which closed June 1, cost $300 and included accommodations for six nights, daily meals, daily transportation between Shenandoah University and Handley High School, and rides from and to Dulles International Airport.
