Jackson Kaguri, Founder and CEO, Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project (NAOP) is from 2 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. in Halpin-Harrison Hall, Stimpson Auditorium. Over 1.1 million children in Uganda have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. Throughout the years, he has been involved extensively in international community efforts as a human rights advocate, fundraiser and inspirational speaker. Kaguri has been named a Heifer International Hero, recognized in Time magazine’s ‘Power of One’ Series and spoken to the United Nations about his work. He was named a CNN Hero in 2012.
