Mangyang Yeath Kur, Founder/Director of Humanity Helping Sudan Project Children’s Presentation

Mangyang Yeath Kur, Founder/Director of Humanity Helping Sudan Project is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Armstrong Hall, Armstrong Auditorium. Area fifth and sixth-grade students who have read Home of the Brave, a fictional novel by Katherine Applegate, about a boy who fled the civil war in his native Sudan and traveled alone to the United States will be invited to attend this presentation. Like the protagonist in the fictional book, Manyang Reath Kher fled the civil war in Sudan, lived in a refugee camp, and traveled alone to the United States. Manyang will share his story of finding a new life in America, succeeding in school and becoming CEO of 734 coffee while continuing to work to make a difference in the lives of others through his Humanity Helping Sudan Project.
