Out of the Darkness Campus Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention begins with registration at 9 a.m. in the Ferrari Room of the Brant Student Center and the walk begins promptly at 10 a.m. This event is open to anyone interested in participating. There are no registration fees but walkers are asked to register. Each walker is encouraged to set a minimum fundraising goal of $100. Suicide is estimated to be the second leading cause of death among college-age Americans, according to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
