Be part of the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention on April 20. The walk begins with registration at 9 a.m. on the Intramural Field on the side closest to the Brandt Student Center parking lot. The walk begins promptly at 10 a.m. This event is open to anyone interested in participating. There are no registration fees but walkers are asked to register in advance.

Each walker is encouraged to set a minimum fundraising goal of $150. Suicide is estimated to be the third leading cause of death among young people aged 15-24, according to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This is why Shenandoah University is hosting this Out of the Darkness Campus Walk. For further questions contact Kimberly Newberry at knewberr@su.edu.
