Scholars’ Latino Initiative (SLI) Interest Meeting The Office of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity are excited to have mentors from Shenandoah University to mentor Handley High School students. We are in search of highly motivated students to mentor high school students and will be meeting on Tuesday November 8th, at 2 p.m. in the Mosaic Center. Mentors are from all majors and are involved in various activities across campus. Mentors do not have to be Latinx, but they do have to have a passion for mentoring and creating more access to college for the Latinx community. Mentors commit to a year of involvement with SLI so that they can mentor their mentee through the rest of the mentee’s high school year. We look forward to seeing at the interest meeting.
