Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month Tree Display will begin on Monday 4/4 in the Brandt Student Center lobby throughout the month of April. Through this display, we want to bring awareness to how many people are impacted by sexual assault in just our community. Throughout the month of April, the NJWC invites you to interact with our tree. Anyone impacted by sexual assault, either personally or through someone they know, who would like to have a survivor ribbon displayed is welcome to hang a ribbon our tree. Our hope is that these ribbons may be the voice of survivors of sexual violence, a way to speak out if they have been forced to be silent in their own healing. Healing is not a quick process and often takes years; trees also take years to reach their full potential.
