Shenandoah University’s Spring 2017 History Fellows

Shenandoah University’s Spring 2017 History Fellows will begin at 7 p.m. in Hester Auditorium, Henkel Hall. Presented by Tony Williams, “The Pox & the Covenant: The Curious History of Science and Religion in Colonial Boston.” Tony Williams is a Senior Fellow at the Bill of Rights Institute, where he writes and lectures on history and civics. He earned history degrees from Syracuse and Ohio State universities, and taught history for fifteen years. He is the author of five books including Washington &; Hamilton: The Alliance that Forged America, which was nominated for the Washington Book Prize and a finalist for the Library of Virginia Non-Fiction Book Award. He is presently completing two forthcoming books on Alexander Hamilton and James Madison for Rowman, Littlefield. He lectures across the country on his books. He lives in Williamsburg with his wife and children. Copies of the speaker’s books will also be available for purchase and signing after the lecture. This is a free lecture.
