SUpr Summit: Research… Redefined! 

Research at at Shenandoah is about more than “bench science.” It’s about exploration– about taking a journey. 

On April 30, students from across the university and from the regional Governor’s Scholars Program at Lord Fairfax Community College will meet to show their journeys from the classroom to the peak of their SU academic experience!

The annual Student Project & Research (SUpr) Summit invites students to present projects and research, works-in-progress, and scholarly creative endeavors through digital media, fine art, audio and video recordings, and posters representing the broad range of projects and research being done inside and outside classrooms.

Submission Deadline

 – Early Bird: Submissions received by March 25, includes poster printing cost 
 – Final Deadline: April 9, may include some printing cost if funded
 – Location: Brandt Student Center Ferrari Room
 – Main Event: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
 – VIP Donors Awards Ceremony: Begins at 7 p.m.

Since its inception, more than 300 students have discovered that presenting at the SUpr Summit is Totally Worth It! At the Summit they network with VIPs at the awards ceremony, practice presentations for regional and national conferences, and win prize money. Plus, students have been awarded $5,025 collectively to date!
